Description

The Leibniz-Zentrum für Agrarlandschaftsforschung (ZALF) develops sustainable crop production systems within landscape contexts by combining complex landscape data with experimental methods, new technologies, computational models, and socioeconomics. Their system research covers processes in soil, plants, and water, and their interactions on field to global scales. ZALF conducts its research in three interlinked program areas at its main site in Müncheberg, with field stations in Dedelow, Paulinenaue, and Müncheberg, focusing especially on regions with high land-use change relevant for global food security.
